Food and Flower Farmer

Set on our vineyard estate in Orange’s beautiful Nashdale region, Rowlee is home to vineyards, gardens, and seasonal produce that inspire our wine, food, and event experiences. We are seeking an experienced and passionate grower to lead our market garden, kitchen garden, and cut flower production — supplying our restaurant, events, and cellar door with fresh, seasonal abundance.

About the Role

• Plan, plant, and maintain seasonal crops for the kitchen garden and market garden
• Grow and harvest flowers for use in events, weddings, and styling across the estate
• Manage soil health, crop rotation, and organic/sustainable farming practices
• Harvest, wash, and prepare produce for the kitchen and events team
• Maintain irrigation, pest control, and overall garden health
• Work with chefs, event planners, and the hospitality team to align harvests with menus and event needs
• Maintain high standards of presentation in all gardens and growing areas

About You

• You have hands-on experience in market gardening, kitchen gardening, or flower farming
• You’re passionate about seasonal, sustainable growing practices
• You’re organised, efficient, and capable of managing planting and harvest schedules
• You enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• You can work independently but also collaborate closely with our kitchen and events teams
• Tractor and/or machinery experience essential
• Available for flexible hours, including early mornings during harvest periods
