Single Vineyard Riesling
The Riesling is from the vineyard’s north-west block. Hand harvested on the 17 March 2019. Destemmed and crushed before pressing the lightly fined juice was racked clean to stainless steel. Fermented at cool temperatures to retain varietal character and freshness. Fined, filtered and bottled in July 2019.
The 2019 vintage displays accentuated floral aromatics. Focused lime flavours on entry with background florals. Gin and tonic like botanical characters. Fine balance of acidity and a subtext of sweetness. A persistent and refined lime/citrus finish with elegant length and drive.
Ideal serving temperature: 8 - 10 degrees Celsius
Cellaring potential: Will reward with careful cellaring for up to 10 years
Food match: Steamed dim sum
