Estate Gardener
Rowlee is a family estate in Nashdale, in the Orange wine region. Our 100 acres take in vineyards, gardens, dining, and event spaces, and the grounds are a large part of what makes a visit here memorable.
We are looking for an Estate Gardener to take ownership of how those grounds look and feel across the year. You will work independently, reporting directly to the Managing Director, with the trust to plan your own work and shape the landscape over time.
About the Role
- Maintain the ornamental gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas across the estate
- Plan and carry out seasonal planting projects
- Prune, fertilise, and keep garden beds healthy year round
- Monitor and manage irrigation systems
- Operate and maintain garden machinery and equipment
- Prepare the grounds for weddings, events, and guest experiences
About You
- Experience in horticulture, gardening, landscaping, or estate maintenance
- Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Organised, with a strong eye for detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
- A horticulture qualification is a bonus, though not essential
What We Offer
- A full-time, permanent role with genuine independence
- The chance to shape the landscape of a growing wine and tourism estate
- Staff discounts on wine and dining
- Involvement in future estate projects as Rowlee grows
