The aromatics are abundant and distinctly varietal. On the palate, a soft and silky entry of gentle citrus flavours gives way to more exotic notes of guava and rockmelon. The lovely contrast of citrus and stone fruit is achieved in this high-altitude, single vineyard wine, by staggering picking times 12 days apart. Time spent ageing in French oak adds a creamy vanilla bean yoghurt character with delicate minerality. The palate shows concentration and finesse with orchard fruits. Fine juicy acidity with just a hint of tang begs for some accompanying seafood. The silky texture and lingering finish ensures another glass.
