Apericena: Italian Party at Rowlee

Join us at Rowlee for Apericena, a vibrant Italian inspired afternoon into evening of food, wine, and music at The Stables and Garden Bar. The Rowlee Dining & Bar kitchen team will serve up a generous spread of Italian bites, perfectly paired with Spritzes, Negronis and our famed Italian varietals such as Arneis, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. As the sun dips behind the vines, dance into the evening with a live DJ accompanied by Sax, from crowd-favourite, Juno Karo.

A afternoon to gather, celebrate, and indulge the Italian way.

Ticket includes drink on arrival and a spread of roaming Italian delicacies including antipasto bites, polpette, wood-fired pizza and tiramisu.

Junio Karo

Junio is an extremely versatile and experienced DJ from Sydney, NSW, and we are thrilled to welcome him back for our second Apericena at Rowlee.

As a specialist DJ and Sax player, Junio has compiled an impressive resume for high profile events, including a long residency at Opera Bar. Junio creates his own backing tracks and freestyles with Saxaphone to provide a wonderful mix of both DJ and Live elements to a show.

He has shared the stage with famed performers, including James Morrison.

He is equally comfortable playing freestyle sax in an acoustic or band setting and is an alumni of the Sydney Conservatorium.

What is Apericena?

Apericena is a combination of the Italian words "aperitivo" (appetiser) and "cena" (dinner). It refers to a social custom where people gather in the early evening to enjoy drinks and a buffet of food, often replacing a full dinner. Essentially, it's a happy hour with a more substantial food offering than a typical aperitivo.
